Because of the beautiful and bountiful environment we live in, I have the absolute pleasure of using the most seasonal, locally grown and natural ingredients. It is such a joy to turn delicious fruits, herbs and local dairy into a fulfilling indulgence for you to enjoy.
There’s been a lot of talk lately about the food we’re putting into our bodies. I’m of the mindset that when it comes to processing, less is better. I use only the best ingredients available in all of my products. Ice cream and other frozen treats are made with local dairy, quality eggs, and cane sugar or Similkameen honey. Many additions are sourced from within the Valley and organic whenever possible. Baking is done with fresh organic flour. These are simple things that I take very seriously, because when a product only has five or six ingredients, quality matters.
I’m very excited to partner with JoieFarm. I have known Heidi, Jen and the crew for years (Heidi and I even went to the same chefs school), and I’m always impressed with their delicious wine. Along with a brand new tasting room, they have a wood-burning pizza oven that will be firing out the best lunches on the Naramata Bench.
In addition to amazing wood-fired pizzas, warm sandwiches, picnic baskets and other snacks, you'll be able to find the best ice cream sandwiches and fresh fruit popsicles available through the patio restaurant - Picnique.
There will be select Saturdays where Pashley will be at the Penticton Farmers' Market on Main Street from 8:30am-1pm. These markets are where I get inspired by the delicious seasonal bounty of this beautiful valley, as well as where I get to support the brave local farmers who grow our food.

In 2012 Brittany Griffith opened Gorgeous Georgia’s Homemade Ice Cream as a food truck cruising the streets of the Okanagan Valley. Her products became wildly popular and soon there was so much demand she had to branch out and make it available in local stores and restaurants.
The truck has been sold and now the business lives on under the ownership of me - Alex Sielmann. I have been a professional chef for over ten years, working in restaurants in Calgary, Vancouver and New Zealand. I graduated as Valedictorian at the prestigious Stratford Chefs School in 2011 and have completed several levels of wine education with distinction. I have cooked and catered for many weddings and events throughout the Okanagan Valley as an integral member of the celebrated Joy Road Catering team. Through the winter months I have been Chef at the exclusive Mica Heli-ski Lodge since 2013. I have a passion for baking and pastry as well as a very demanding sweet tooth. Half the fun of creating custom cakes and desserts for your wedding or event is that I get to taste along the way.
I’ve loved ice cream for my entire life. From sitting on the steps of a country store licking rainbow sherbet in Prince Edward Island, to an obsession with a certain Queen’s cookie dough BlizzardTM, to falling in love with lemon and pistachio on the streets of Italy.
It’s a dream come true for me to own this little business in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia and I’m so excited that you’re here to experience it with me.
