Our Products

When it comes to ingredients, quality is our priority. We use only the best, sourced from within the Valley and organic whenever possible. Our ice cream is made with local dairy, quality eggs, and cane sugar or Similkameen Valley honey. Fruit comes to us in season and direct from the orchard. We only bake with fresh organic flour. At Gorgeous Georgia's, quality matters.

The History

Hi, I'm Alex Sielmann, purveyor of Gorgeous Georgia's. From sitting on the steps of a country store licking rainbow sherbet on Prince Edward Island, to falling in love with lemon and pistachio gelato on the streets of Italy, I've been inspired by ice cream all my life.

I have been a professional chef for over ten years, working in restaurants in Calgary, Vancouver and New Zealand. Since graduating at the top of my class at the Stratford Chefs School in 2011, I've completed several levels of WSET wine education with distinction - a perfect Okanagan pairing. I enjoy nothing more than using the skills I’ve acquired to bring joy to others on a daily basis.

I have a passion for baking and pastry (as well as a very demanding sweet tooth!) and it’s a dream come true to share the sweetness of the Okanagan Valley with you. I do my absolute best to create a delicious, thoughtful and responsible product - so please take a minute, grab a spoon, and enjoy a moment of bliss.
